Elicit is the fourth book of the Eagle Elite series by the best selling author Rachel Van Dyken. Told in dual perspectives, this book was one gut wrenching punch!!

From the moment I got a whiff of Tex and Mo's chemistry in the first book of this series , I have been dying to get to know more about them. They were the side characters in the rest of the books and I took those small scenes of theirs as scapes and prices to feed by addiction to them. The moment they got a full blown book , none of you can imagine my joy!!

Elicit was the book , where we got to know the family dynamics even more deeply. All those who have read Entice , know that things were really tough for Mo and Tex in the end. They had a true rollercoaster ride , that had me crying more times that I can count. Tex is destined to be the Capo of the family. Even though he denies that , he is still the one who has rights to that position.

Now it is upto him to be the dreaded Capo , or to have his girl and live life as it is going on. Tex was my absolute favourite , his humour had me laughing so hard and then their were these painful scenes between him and Mo. I am totally in awe of the way Rachel wrote those scenes!! The wording she used , he r sentences and everything forced me to feel the pain with the characters.

Mo was the sister of Nixon about whom we read in the first two books of this series. She was the princess of the house, but also had her dark parts.i absolutely loved the bond the girls had between them. We saw a transition in their characteristics in this book. Mo, mil and Trace were the epitome of perfect friendship!

This book was hand down one of the best Mafia novels I have ever read. Hell, this whole series is amazing! I can't wait to see more of these characters . I am a woman obsessed to these amazing characters ! Rachel Van dyken has delivered so many punches to the gut throughout this book , I barely had time to recover before she dropping yet another twist that blew my mind!

This series is recommended to all the hardcore mafia lovers! This mafia trope , is something that you have to read in order to call yourself a mafia lover!
