The dark ones is the first book of the brand new series ' The dark ones Saga ' by the best selling author Rachel Van Dyken. Told in dual perspectives, this was one the best mixture of fantasy and erotica that I have ever read!

I have been a huge fan of Rachel's books from the moment I started reading her Eagle Elite series . This was one of the new genres that she had picked up , at least for me it was new because I have only read her contemporary and mafia Romances. As usual , with her amazing writing skills , she did an amazing job with this genre too!! I absolutely loved this fantasy trope and the suspense element of this book had my head spinning in awe!

Genesis , the heroine of this book is a human who has spent her whole life serving the immortals. When she is called for her number to mate the vampire kings , she is scared a bit. What shocks her the most is that , all that she has been told until now about the immortals was as absolute lie. The job that she thought would be her death , was actually pleasent. What she didn't expect was her crazy attraction to the vampire king.

Ethan is a vampire who has suffered a lot in his life. He knows he can't fall in love , or else it will destroy him completely. That is until the human destined for him round his plans. She crashes into his life and becomes a huge part of it and forces him to face his emotions! Both Genesis and Ethan were absolutely perfect for each other and had me swooning so hard all the damn time!

There was another thing that I loved about this book and that was the supporting characters! The way those characters played huge roles in the storyline was amazing! I got a hint about whose story we will get next and I really can't wait for that one!!

This book is recommended to all the NA paranormal romance lovers! , This book is one that you all won't regret reading!
