ONCE A MYTH is the first book of the brand new series Goddess isles by Pepper Winters. It is told in dual Perspectives and has a dark and erotic romance theme.

OHHH MYY GODD!!! the hell was that?? that ending!! I can't remember how long I have been sitting , staring at kindle. What the hell just happened?? Leave it to pepper winters to completely twist your mind in such dark ways , that you actually start enjoying it. This book was such an emotional ride for me!!! I can't even tell you!! the way the author just gave me heart attack in some of the scenes is totally not fair!! The way she described every small scene in vivid detail. Those details practically force you to feel every emotion of the characters and make the author unique in her own way.

This truly has to be one of her darkest novels!! it is absolutely amazing. The way the author divulged us into her dark mind was fabulous. I mean I am actually scared to start the second book!!! I need recovery time from this one!!!!! I can rant and rant about how amazing this book is and none of you will understand without actually reading it.

In the starting we meet Eleanor , who is a naive and shy girl. She truly thinks the world is full of roses and the worst that can happen to her is getting bullied. God, if she had any idea, what actually was going to happen to her!!

A few years later , she shown to be kidnapped by traffickers who sell girls for sex basically. There she meets Tess who is the lead character in Pepper's other best-selling series Tears of Tess . Tess is a rebellious sort of girl who has no problem in kneeing her kidnapper in the balls. Eleanor is more of the save-her-strength type. She stays quite and let's them do whatever they wants. Her strength and beauty had me in awe. She is sold and is sent to the island , where the Island owner, Sully waits for her.

Just don't even get me started on Sully aka Sullivan Sinclair. I don't think their has been a character that has made me want to dive into my kindle and pull him out , more than Sully. Why can't we find such gorgeous and dangerously intelligent men in the real world!!!! Sully was truly a monster in his own ways. He purchased women and made them sex slaves for men who came as clients to his island. He says that women actually liked being on his island, which made Eleanor Laugh, But later turned out to be true. The way he twisted things and controlled his island was just so mesmerizing!!

From the first moment Sully Sees Eleanor, his reaction just took my heart. For someone who determined to stay away from his goddesses , he sure had some amazing descriptions about Eleanor in his mind.

She doesn't need to be turned into a Goddess. She is already one.

He has had sobbing , angry and broken women come to his island . He was used to those types of reactions. But Eleanor surprised him. The way she strode over to him like a queen had him questioning his motives for loaning her out to other men. Eleanor too was Captivated by her ruthlessly handsome owner.

Sully tries really hard to stay away from her . But she awakens something in him that he has never felt and leaves him confused about his own emotions and motives!!

This book had me panting so hard and that ending god!! that cliffhanger should be illegal . I need to read the second book ASAP!!! This book is recommended to all the dark romance lovers. The ones who love to get their minds twisted and broken , this is perfect for you!!!!
