Plot Summary :
It's time for Death to arrive. The final horseman. The most awaited one too! Death is the real carnage. He is the one who handles it all. The true alpha. His brother had their chance and also faced their doom. They all surrendered because they fell in love and they were weak. Death knows his purpose and knows that no one will stop him. That is until he meets his mate. His mate is a woman who cannot die. She is everything he is not and they are destined to clash into one and other. One only kills and the other cannot die. Every part of him demands that he takes her with him forever but he has vowed that he won't fall prey to the same demons as his brothers did.
Lazarus knows the true meaning of loneliness. She is the one person who cannot die and because of that there is no one who has seen and suffered more death than her. Her whole life is suffering and so she vows to do something that no one has ever done before. She vows to kill death. There was a reason she was made like this. She is the only person whom he cannot kill and that makes them enemies. If only they could overcome this attraction they have. But both of them have their own goals. One of them is destined to end humanity and the other will do everything to save it. One of them is destined to die by the end of this war they have going on.
Overall Opinion :
Omg. DADDY DEATH. Holy shit. I don't think I have been more crazy for a book than I have been for Death. The man is the definition of dark, broody and deadly and he is my favorite!! I have been crazy for his book ever since he made an appearance in the first book of this series. I wanted to see him surrender so bad. Lazarus was his true match in every way. She was the one person who could handle his poison. The one person destined to destroy him all the while being made for him too. He never knew the meaning of emotion but she is the only one who entices that in him.
I seriously can't believe that this series is over! I have been obsessed over it for years and now it's done 🥺 . I want so much more! I never thought I would love a book in this series more than what I loved about WAR but omg, death totally surpassed it all. This book is my top read for this series. The ending had me in tears! It was a combination of crazy and sweet which I loved so much. Definitely recommending this whole series to all the fantasy romance loving people put there. There is no way you guys can miss meeting my horsemen! They are all crazy and trust me, it's a sight to see them when they fall in love!
