Release date: 8th July 2021

My name is Easton Donovan,
and I massively screwed up.
I should’ve given her the world.
Should’ve been everything she deserves.
Instead, I broke her like every promise I’ve ever made.
The darkness tells me to let her go.
Memories of my past keep me from letting her in.
Someone should tell her that loving me is a losing game.
Just being around her is a high I’ve never known.
If she knows what’s good for her, she’ll cut me off.
Given the chance, I’ll ruin her the way I’ve done to others.
But with the bomb she just dropped, she’s here to stay.
She’s flawless innocence.
I’m toxic destruction.
And the selfish part is, I need her.
Truth be told, Kennedy Lehigh could be the one to save me from myself.

Plot Summary :
Easton knows the pain of being in love. He knows what it is to lose the person you love to someone else. What he doesn't know is how to put himself through all that again. Kennedy is the one person whom he loves now but his demons of the past made him destroy the girl. She is everything he does not deserve and now it might be too late to make her see the truth of his words.
Kennedy has been in love with Easton since the moment she saw him for the first time. But she knows now that he never felt the same. She knows what it feels like to be broken by him and there is no way she is letting him do that to her again.
Overall Opinion :
I have been waiting for this book for like ever! Ever since I got a whiff of this couple , I knew it was going to be one hell of a story because of Easton's past. And so it was! I loved Kennedy and Easton so much. They finally have the HEA they always deserved even though the path was not easy.
The storyline was amazing with a few shocking twists that I loved and all they did was to add more angst to the story. The ending was perfect and I am so heartbroken to see these characters go!! They are the best and I love them so much.
I would definitely recommend this book to all the second chance contemporary romance loving people!
