Plot Summary :
Mia and Julian are back! After that shocking ending of the last book, I knew that I needed this one so bad. Things were about to get very very dark and I was totally prepared for it. But hell I was wrong . Nothing could have prepared me for the level of fuckery thandiwe had in mind for us!

With Mia being kidnapped by Shane and his brother and Julian being free, the duet has no idea about the upcoming dangers. That is until Julian comes to know about the sacrifices Mia made to get him free and now has been betrayed by her own. Seeing the evidence of the treatment she is going through only makes it Harder for Julian to survive and free her eventually.

With their enemies tracking every move and them being betrayed by the people they trusted, things sure seem tough for them right now. All they can do now is hope for the best.

Overall Opinion :
Holy shit. I think this has to be the darkest book Thandiwe has ever written! Nothing could have prepared me for it. I had my heart in my throat for most of the time and was praying so hard for these characters to survive. Because they certainly did not deserve what happened to them! But thandiwe didn't hold back and she made them work for it which was sort of amazing to witness. I loved the storyline of this book so very much!

The book is emotional and filled with so many triggers. The author describes the h going through some Grusome torture scenes and she sure does not hold back. It was triggering so please keep that in mind before picking up this book. What started as a high school bully romance has now evolved into something much more and I am absolutely loving it!

All dark romance lovers need to read this whole trilogy. The Heroine is absolutely kickass with a smart mouth and the hero does not hold back with her. He has his own brand of darkness which quickly reserved him a spot in my top anti heroes! A highly recommended read for all.
