EMMY
My fall from grace was one for the books. All it took was his word against mine for everything to topple.
Liar. Slut. Snitch.
Now, I wear my shame like a scarlet letter pinned to my chest.
People say I ruined his life. Except, he’s the one who irrevocably broke me—my heart, my body, my soul…my will to live.
STERLING
Like a little coward, she thinks the span of five states is enough to keep her safe. But I know where she is and I’m going to make her pay.
She ruined my best friend’s life. Now…I’m going to ruin her.
One by one, I’ll spill her secrets, until she has nowhere left to turn—except to me, her very own big, bad wolf.

Plot Summary :
Emmy has a terrible childhood. Hurt and ruined beyond repair by someone who should have cared for her, she has no one to turn to. Going to high school was her chance at change but one certain ghost of her past followed her there too.
Sterling is everything she wanted and hated all at once. He didn't know what happened to her. He is on the enemies side yet her body wants him so much. Even though his only aim is to break her.
Overall Opinion :
This was the first book by this author that I have read and damn it was amazing! That blurb hooked me in and I knew this book was going to be one of favourites and it turned out to be so too!
Sterling was absolutely yummy and had his own aims to break the girl who destroyed his best friend. Even though he might want her, he knew how convincing she was and for that she would pay. What he didn't expect was for her to open up and to know that he had been on the wrong side of this battle. She was already broken by the very people he was helping and now there is no limit he won't cross to help her become the fearless woman she was always supposed to be.
This standalone was absolutely amazing! Full of second chances and so much steam, I loved sterling and Emma's tale. It didn't have very dark bullying but it was there to some extent. The ending was smooth sbf I loved the other characters too. I even have a few theories about the next characters and there is no way I am going to stop reading this series now. Highly recommended to all the dark romance lovers out there!
