ARC REVIEW - Dear Love , I Hate You
It all started with an anonymous letter.
He wasn’t supposed to find it—no one was. And he definitely wasn’t supposed to answer it.
We end up talking through letters and sticky notes in a book. One sticky note. Two sticky notes. Ten sticky notes. All baring our darkest, deepest secrets.
It’s all fun and games until I find out who my pen pal is...
Xavier Emery. King of my basketball-obsessed town, my childhood bully, and the guy I am in grave danger of falling in love with.
But the rules were clear: we can never know who we’re talking to, and the confessions can never, ever get out. Seriously. It would destroy lives.
Fine by me. Even if Mr. Popular does find out his confidant is little old me, it’s not like he’d ever love me back…
Right?

Here I am, chasing after the girl I promised to leave behind. The girl I promised to break. And I did. I broke her heart. Little did I know I’d be breaking mine, too.”
Plot Summary :
Xavier was the one boy whom Vee hated. He was her childhood bully and the one person who made her life hell. And now he doesn't even remember who she is! He was supposed to grow up but one encounter with him tells her how much of an ass he really is. So in her fits of anger she by mistake leaves her confessional letter in the library.
He wasn't supposed to find it. Wasn't supposed to read it and he certainly wasn't to reply back. Soon they are pen pals and it doesn't take her long to realize that the one boy who she wants to hate is the one who might be perfect for her.
Too bad he has no idea about her being his pen pal. Xavier is one of the kings of the school. Vee knows how it is to be hated by him and now it's her turn to know how it is to be wanted by him.
Overall Opinion :
Ever since my Bully romance loving eyes landed on that blurb, I have been losing my mind. I mean it has a 'secret pen pals' theme for God's sake!!
This book was everything I wanted and so much more! This was the first book I have read by this author and hell, she had me hooked. I will definitely be checking out her other works and obsessing more over her.
Vee and Xavier were perfect and it's truly been a long time since I have enjoyed a contemporary romance this much! This book wasn't a bully romance, the main H Xavier wasn't a bully but it was more like enemies to lovers which truly intrigued me.
The storyline was amazing and I loved the way the author gave me these twists and turns that drove me crazy. The steam between the characters was freaking amazing and so very hot. A must read for me and pretty much all enemies to lovers out there!
