Those who have read the first book of this series already know Marcus and what happened with him. Even though both books are stand alones , I suggest that they must be read in order for a better experience because the timelines overlap and the second book contains minor spoilers of the first part. This is Marcus and Fallon’s story.

Marcus is the second hand commander of Julian. He has a pretty content life. That is until a ghost from his past shows back in his life. Fallon’s whole life has been uprooted. From being a politician’s daughter, she is thrust in the slavery world and now is being sold at an auction. She does not know what her future holds but she does know that it is not going to be pretty. That is until she makes eye contact with the man with dark eyes. The one who stares at her with disbelief. The one who ends up buying her in that auction. Marcus is completely thrown off the loop. Falon looks so much like someone he knew once and there is nothing he can do about it , but he does know that he has to have her the moment he sees her. Now both of them are stuck in this forced relationship where there is no love , just a bond of Captor and Captive.
Marcus and Fallon had an amazing tale that I had the pleasure of reading, Both the characters were pretty amazing and The storyline of this book was the one thing that I Liked the most. The twists and turns of this book were amazing and I couldn’t put this book down once I started reading it. A definite recommendation to all the dark romance lovers out there!
