'Stroke of Midnight' is the first part of the dark Cinderella novel. This book ends in a cliffhanger. Trust me , even I didn't know about the cliffhanger 😂.

This was a very very Dirty version of the famous fairytale Cinderella. It is a part of the midnight Dynasty world by many famous authors. I was enamored by this book right from the moment I read the blurb. There is something so erotic about turning an innocent fairytale into a adult version , something for which I am always game. This is the story of Winston and Ash.

Winston is a part of the Constantine family. He is proper control freak and desires so dark that he never found anyone to fulfill them. That is until he finds his new cleaner at office has not been doing her job perfectly. Tardiness is one thing he loathes and it is time to teach the young girl a lesson.

Ash comes from a wealthy family. Only if she got some from that. Her stepmother and three stepbrothers make sure that she is always lonely and never has any money. They take joy in tormenting her and making her life miserable. That is until she gets a new job at the Constantine firm. Things are fine until she messes that up. Winston Constantine has to be the most rude and beautiful man she has ever scene. Instead of firing her for her mistakes , he offers her a proposition. From there starts a game of humiliation and seduction.

It doesn't take long for Ash to realise that she likes his brand of torture. She actually likes what he does to her and that troubles her even more. Soon there games turns into something more. But things are not that easy . Specially with Ash's stepbrothers and Winston's enemies in the way , HEA is not in the course for these two.

I loved the concept of this story. There were only little titbits taken from the actual Cinderella story, the rest was all different. I can already tell that the next book is going to be totally amazing and I can't even tell you guys how excited I am for that! With new villains in the mix , I have a feeling that the best is yet to come. A definite recommendation to all the dark Romance lovers out there. If erotic fairytales are something you would like to try , then this book is something that you shouldn't leave ever!
