I have read the previous books by this author and Dillion had always mystified me! When I knew that he was getting his own book, I was all over it in seconds! And what a ride it was. Between those sassy moments between Dillion and Serena and Sawyer belting out the perfect songs at the perfect moment , I didn't realise when I fell in love with all these characters so bad!

Serena holds her beer up in salute. “Vibrator. All day long.”
“You just ran that stop sign, Dillon!” Chantal calls out as she and Bambi giggle. Dammit. I ease up on the accelerator. Must stop looking at her in the mirror! I shift around in the seat to ease my erection. That’s what I get for imagining Serena’s orgasm face.”

Dillion is a top football player in his high school. According to him , being a football player automatically makes you a bit superstitious. There is a legend at their high school. The first girl that any football player kisses at the bonfire is his soulmate. He will always be transfixed by her and will probably always dream about her. Well , it scares the hell out of Dillion. He thinks the superstition is a fluke ,but still doesn't want to take any risks! All his plans fly out of the window when a dancing beauty catches his eye at the bonfire. Before he knows what he is doing , he is making his way to her and grabbing her and kissing her. That is when he realises what he just did. Everything is screwed now. And the girl is not that pleased either. When she rejects him and disappears, he makes it his mission to find her again.

When I look at you, I see storms in your eyes.” Maybe a glimmer of sadness. “It makes me wonder who you really are.”

Three years paas and there is no sign of that girl. Dillion has almost stopped daydreaming about her when she returns. Seeing his dream-kisser in a shop is the last thing he want. Not to mention that she doesn't even remember him. Ahhh, the HORROR. For the first time Dillion is speechless. Not only she doesn't remember him, she doesn't even fawn over him like other girls. That really throws his plans of swooning her out of the window. So he might have stolen all the Champagne just to spite her… not his finest moment.

Serena is not too thrilled at being punked. She really wanted that champagne. Not that it is a competition , but she might have stolen all the Oreos just to spite the hot man in front of her. Not her finest moment either. It is clear that both Dillion and Serena don't like each other. Then why do they find themselves being together. Why does she want the hot football player to notice him. Not that he ever would , with the harem of women after him. And a relationship is the last thing she wants , specially after her last disastrous break up.

Dillion is in a bad position. It is not that tough to charm a woman. But in from of Serena, all that 'Charm' of his , just sort of goes Poof. For the first time he will have to chase a girl who has her heart closed to men and won't give in at the first bat of his eyelashes.

From that a lot of funny encounters follow and I loved the banter both Serena and Dillion had. Add all the other characters , which made the book equal parts funny and swoony , this book quickly climbed my top reads chart! I absolutely loved the hell out of this book and can't recommend it enough to all the contemporary romance lovers out there! If sports and Romantic comedies are your thing then don't hesitate to one click this one!!
