First of all, I was sent to St. Mary’s School for Troubled Teenagers – an all-girls reform school – as a punishment for a petty, totally inconsequential crime. Not to ogle the principal’s hot son around the campus.

Second of all, you’re a giant jerk. You’re arrogant and moody and so cold. Sometimes I think I shouldn’t even like you.

But strangely your coldness sets me on fire.

The way your athletic body moves on the soccer field and the way your powerful thighs sprawl across that bike of yours, make me go inappropriately breathless.

But that’s not the worst part.

The worst part is that you, Arrow Carlisle, are not only the principal’s hot son.

You also happen to be the love of my sister’s life.

When I first saw the blurb of this story , I was Intrigued. It has all the genres I am addicted to. The secret love one and a little bit taboo too! But nothing could have prepared me for what this author had in store for us!! This book truly gutted me. I had to take deep breaths to get through the book. The emotion in this book…. God , the emotion , I am still shivering from it. I never thought a book could be this raw , this painful and intense to a degree that makes you feel everything! This book consumed me and you all need to clear out some space on your Top Shelves because The blond Arrow is coming in quick to wreck you all!!

Some girls fall in love and a boy catches them. He waits for them at the bottom of the cliff with open arms. And then there are other girls. Girls like me. We’re the girls in love with the boys who belong to someone else. We’re the girls in doomed love. When girls like us fall, there’s no one to catch us. Least of all that boy for whom we’ve taken the fall.

Salem. An odd name , isn't it? Well even this girl is odd. She is different in the most beautiful way. A way through which you notice her and cherish her. Most of the book was told from her point of view. The way she described her pain , the pain of being in love with someone who loves someone else was so painful. I was gutted. This author , she just reached into my chest and plucked out my heart and still don't know how to get it back! Salem is the most beautiful character , I had the pleasure of reading. She is the girl who felt too much and she didn't hesitate to express it. I loved that about her!! She has always been in love with Arrow. From the moment she saw him when she was 10 years old. But then he saw her sister and she was the secondary character in their story. The way she described her pain , god… I cried so much with her! Being the villain in Arrow's love story was never her intention, so she stayed away from him. Never talked to him and left the room when he entered it. Even though it broke her little by little.

Arrow is the male lead of this story. His whole life he was taught to be perfect. Anything else was not tolerated. He was such a complicated character. It was fascinating for me to be in his head. Also I would like to appreciate that hot as hell cover!! Look at those cheekbones! I don't think the author could have chosen a better cover model. Arrow has returned to his hometown after messing up in his sports. As a punishment he is being made the sports coach of the rebel girls school. A school which Salem attends. That is when he finally notices her. The girl who was always in the background. The one who never talked to him. He noticed her and her freckles and hated her too. Hated her for gaining his attention because once he noticed her , he couldn't stay away!

Salem Salinger deserves my wrath. She deserves my anger for barging into my life like a storm. For being a rulebreaker, and I absolutely fucking hate rulebreakers. She deserves my wrath for affecting me the way she does.

This book was messy and so addictive. It was a true masterpiece. Everything about these characters was amazing and I could not put this book down once I read it!! I even messaged the author about how awesome this book was , she was pretty sweet , even though I know she was a little scared of the creepy fan!

I can't recommend this book enough to everyone!! I am not even going to state the genres this time , because there is no person who wouldn't love this book! A definite recommendation to all! Just keep some tissues nearby because this book is an intense ugly-cry book and also stretch your fingers a bit because you are going to highlight the whole damn book. Just like me! There is no one who wouldn't want to highlight and re-read words that describe such raw , all consuming pain!

I don’t know when I fell in love with him. All I know is that when I was falling in love with Arrow, he was falling in love with someone else. With my sister, Sarah. And they are perfect for each other. Perfect.
