'Lyrical' is the second book of the 'Academy Of Stardom' series by Bea Paige. After that mind blowing cliffhanger at the end of 'Freestyle' , I would have done literally anything to get my hands on this book!

This book continues off right where the first one ended and It was much more angsty than the first book too. The breakers have now realised that things are not as simple as they seem. That their Pen might have betrayed them , but she broke herself in doing that.

Pen on the other hand is sort of done with them. She wants to tell them the truth but the danger of it forces her to keep her mouth shut. So she stays quite. She lets them think that she betrayed them , all the while being broken by their hate.

I push the boundaries, I do it for her, for Titch. My girl. Our girl. I rip open my fucking chest and let her see the mess she made of my heart.

This book was definitely much more complex than the first book. The first book mostly consisted of scenes of the past whereas this one focused on the present. Some of the breakers have given to their attraction to Pen. They want their girl back and would do anything to get her back! Xeno is definitely the hardest nut to crack! The hate he held in his eyes for pen , even made me shiver! He was definitely the most complicated character and I couldn't wait to read more of him!!

A highly recommended read to all the Bully Reverse Harem lovers out there!! This is a high school Romance with dark themes that gave me all the damn feels!
