'Ruthless Knight' is the second book of the 'Royal hearts Academy' series by Ashley Jade. Told in dual perspectives, this book truly became one of my top reads of this year!

Here I was busy thinking that the first book of this series was amazing and agut punch… if only I knew what Ashley had in store for me for the next book! Cole's book was a hurricane of emotions for me. No book has made me cry this much!! An absolute masterpiece!

Turns out karma isn’t always a bitch. Sometimes she’s a devastatingly good-looking quarterback with cheekbones so sharp they’d cut glass, green eyes so piercing you seriously wonder if he’s part wolf, and a lean, muscular body that makes me… Get a damn grip, Sawyer.

Cole Covington is the devil twin. His brother Liam was the golden boy and Cole was always the shadow. The one who never measured up and was always everyone's second choice. To say his relationship with his twin was bad would be an understatement. It was downright disastrous. That is until his twin Kills him and destroys him in the process.

“What do you want, Colton?” The pure agony that slashes across his face wraps around my heart and squeezes. “Something I can never have… because I’ll destroy it.”

Sawyer Grace is the Fat girl of the school. She used to the bullying and shaming. That is until a certain boy with high cheekbones and green eyes batches her eyes. She thinks he is different from the others. That he will be the one to choose her. Until he too breaks her heart and destroys it forever. Cole was cruel. He was downright selfish and only thought about himself. That is what I thought too. Until I got to know him.my heart hurt so bad for him. The way he thought about himself was so sad and I just wanted to hug him half the damn time!!

This book also had a few scenes that had me laughing so hard!The funny aspect and the serious aspects of the book made it one of my top reads!

As if feeling my stare, he opens his eyes.
“Morning.” I snuggle against his chest.
“Morning.”
“Morning,” a voice that sounds like my dad’s drawls.

This book has so many triggers you can think of. It has eating disorders and drug usage, but despite of that I am in awe of how amazingly this author has given us this story!! It just took her a few chapters to become one of my top favourites and I'll be rushing in the future to read all of her books!!! This book was a bit emotional one and make me cry so much! The pain the characters experienced was too much and I hurt too much with them.

This book is definitely one of my top reads !! And I would recommend it to anyone and everyone who is in need of a gut wrenching book that punches you right in the face with emotions !!
