POV: Dual

My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
My first mistake?
Causing the sexy Frenchman a concussion.
My second?
Telling the hospital staff that I was his girlfriend.
In my defense, he didn’t speak English.
My third?
Taking him home, letting him sleep in my bed. Naked.
I never said I was Florence Nightingale . . .
He gave me a night I’ll never forget but when I wake, he’s already gone.
I tell myself it’s his loss, that I wasn’t expecting him to stay forever anyway,
And my life moves on.
I get a new job. A fresh start in a new country and I stop counting my mistakes.
Until those striking green eyes meet mine across the office,
And it all comes rushing back.
But he’s not that man anymore.
Gone are his jeans and his playful attitude.
Rich and powerful, he’s now sin in a suit.
And his English is perfect.
Were his kisses also lies? His caresses meaningless?
I feel like such a fool—I want to wrap my hands around his neck.
Though not to hug him,
Because the man is a force of nature.
A master manipulator.
He’s also my new boss.
And I already hate him.
The biggest lies are the ones we tell ourselves.

'Liar Liar' is a Standalone Romance written by Donna Alam. This book was one gripping tale of love and a bit of suspense!!
I thought I had written the review of this book , but it seems like my wonky brain forgot about this one! So here is my late az fuck review… apologies 💓
This was the first book that I have read by this author and I must say that she is quite talented. The blurb of this book sucked me in and I picked this book the moment it arrived on my kindle! I read this one in one sitting couldn't stop reading until the very last page!
This book explores one disastrous one night stand that turned into so much more. Remy is the bad boy type. He needs someone to love him and does not want to be wanted for his bank account. Rose is the female protagonist of this book and was a sweet caring woman. She ends up taking care of Remy one night and thinks he can't speak english. They end up spending the night together and when Rose wakes up the next morning , Remy is gone.
Life was going ok until she walks into her office and finds her new boss to be the one she slept with. And his English is perfect. Their story starts off a bit rough as Rose thinks she got tricked. This book was a fun read for me , a contemporary genre with decent character and no dark stuff! I recommend this book to all the contemporary romance lovers out there who would love an asshole hero and a heroine who brings him to his knees!
