Den of vipers was a reverse harem standalone romance written by K.A. knight. This book is gritty ,dark mafia read for all the book lovers who love to get their minds twisted!! 

This was the first book that I have read by this author and it was amazing!! There are times when I find books of the reverse harem theme , a bit cringe. But this book was mind blowing in every way. It was a long read for me , for about 700-800 pages I guess. But every word was worth it. I loved the way the author maintained the balance between dark and tender . 

Here we get to meet Roxanne , who is the owner of a bar near the city. Widely know for her bad ass personality , she is now one of my favorite girls of all time. Roxanne's father was however a major ass. He got himself into trouble and sold off Roxanne to pay off his debts. That's where the local monsters known as the Vipers are introduced to the story. They are the ones who now own Roxanne. They send thugs to kidnap her and bring them to their place. But are surprised to know that a five foot something women fought off four thugs and completely crushed their plans!!! So they decide to get her themselves. 

The lead of the four vipers is named Ryker. He is a leading businessman , who wears suit for most of the time and is basically in-charge of all the stuff. Ryker was hotness incarnated!! The way he handled his personality , had me swooning !! Ryker's only aim was to protect his brothers and for that he did whatever he had to do. 

Kenzo was Ryker's real brother by blood. According to me , Kenzo was the softest of them all. He was the mastermind with numbers and owned several casinos. He was ruthless in his own way but wasn't as cruel as Ryker. 

Deisel was the mastermind of crazy. He was my absolute favorite of them all. The way he swapped personality, going from a crazy raging person to the laughing clown who had everybody laughing was amazing. They all were worried that Deisel would break Roxanne , since his tastes where the most depraved. But it was amazing to see how well Roxanne handled him. Soon she became the center of his world and was with him in everything he did. 

Garrett is the last Viper. He is tall and muscular and probably the most coldest of them all. He absolutely hates women. That was given when I got to know more about his past. My heart hurt so bad for him . Though no matter how much tough he acted , or how cold he was , he was the most caring of them all. After a lot of push and pull , he too warms up too Roxy. Garrett is the enforcer of their and He and Deisel are in charge of getting information from people. They all are pretty rich and can do whatever they want in the city without any concerns or repercussions.

There were a few things that I didn't like about the book . Roxanne was a bit too crass for me at times . She was perfect in every way and I absolutely loved her strength but their were times when I could have lived without her attitude.

Apart from that , I really loved this book and it is one of my favorite reverse harem reads of all time!!!
