Beautiful scars is a gripping novel written by Ariana Black. Told in dual perspectives, this book was one the best captive trope that I ever read.

This was the first book of this author that I have read. And I must say that I am a lot impressed. The way she twisted the storyline to give us an amazing captor captive romance was marvellous!!

Here we get to meet Meisie and the Hendry Twins Cole and Cillian. Meisie is the PM Ford's daughter and she has been very sheltered throughout her life. She has been caught up in a battle between the twins and her mother. The twins want to use her for their benefit in order to gain information.

Cole and Cillian both work together as a team and have their own roles to play. Cole is the one who comes up with a plan to kidnap her and Cillian is the one who executes it. However Meisie manages to get under his skin during that plan. There is something about her , about her innocence and beauty that captivates Cillian. And suddenly the plan is too tough to execute.

Meisie was living her life in her usual sheltered way and the idea of a date sounded appealing to her. She managed to get away from her mother's eyes and reaches her date destination. Only at that place , her date is missing and Cillina is the one present there. She somehow ends up being his captive and from there things go downhill.

Meisei's life has never been easy. When Cillina hears about the things she has endured, he decides to give her the life she deserves. But the path for these was never the easy one , as things go downhill once again and Meisei ends up being kidnapped again. That girl really needed to avoid getting kidnapped.

On an overall basis this was a good book for me. The captive captor tripe was nicely displayed in the book and I would recommend this one to all the dark,erotic romance lovers!
