From the moment I read about the gist of this book at the end of hood river rat, I was just so excited to get my hands on it!!!! and this book was everything I expected.
When I first read about Roux and Jordy , the idea of them as a couple seemed a bit odd to me. Because she was always the baby of the family , but when I read the book, OH god!!!! they were so perfect.



Jordy's character in hood river rat was a bit of a violent one in the starting. I really didn't like him. But towards the end of the book, I surely fell in love with him. Everything he did, he weighed the pros and cons against roan and his family. He seriously considered them as his everything ,which was the best thing to read!!!
Then there was roux. She was forced to mature at a so small age because of her past. She certainly grew up to be something so precious , that jordy could not control himself. The scenes of this book were sometimes so vulnerable and emotional , that by the end I had tears in my eyes.



The ending of the book was so brutal!! the one thing I really live about this author, is that she does not sugarcoat shit!! she gives you the whole monstrous scenes and those filthy villains and then she makes us watch the main characters struggle through the book.!!
This book was seriously one of the best reads of this year to me, and I certainly cannot wait for the next book of the series, that is cal's book!!!!!
This book is recommended to all the romance books lovers , with a very dark edge and a happily ever after!!!
